  • Dolline Joy Fain, 82, of Malvern passed away December 23, 2015. She was born on November 20, 1933 to Robert William and Ruby (Banks) Ray.  Dolline was a member of the Tanner Street Church of Christ. She loved her church and loved her church family very much.  Dolline was known for her big Sunday dinners. She loved to cook for her family and anyone else that came to her door. She fed many Malvern police officers, if they were working on Sunday, they got to eat. Dolline was everyone’s “Little Memaw”.

     

    Dolline is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years, Kent Fain; her grandson, Sgt. Michael Yarbrough; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

     

    Dolline is survived by her son, Ken (Bonnie) Fain of Malvern; daughters, Colleen (Larry) Collins of Malvern and Rhonda Kidder of Benton. She also leaves behind her brother, Henry (Teresa) Ray of Cherokee Village, AR; her sister, Ailline (Hubert) Davis of Atkins, AR; seven grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She will also be greatly missed by her little dog “Angel”.

     

    Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Henderson officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Pallbearers will be, Ronnie Smith, Randy Smith, Tyler Smith, Spencer Newcomb, Clinton Hutcheson and Jim Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of Encore Health And Rehabilitation Center.  Interment will be at Rockport Memorial Gardens.
